I think wanting to spend time with family instead of obsessing over money is a valid stance. However, I see logical points on both sides of the debate. Without money, you lack freedom; living in poverty doesn't necessarily mean fewer problems—on the contrary, for many people, it causes sleepless nights. On the other hand, there is no guarantee that being rich will make you happy. Both viewpoints are naive. There are also wealthy people who never built their own fortunes but inherited them, or acquired them through marriage or corruption. In other words, there isn't even a guarantee that hard work lies behind the money.
