I'm not good at Souls games (except maybe at bloodborne but in bloodborne you play more aggressive than in Demon/Dark Souls^^
To be honest i didn't liket the souls game at the start...
friend of mine gave me Demon Souls 8 year's ago and i beat the first boss, didn't know what to do, died a lot in all worlds and put the game in the shelf -> game must be shit xD
2 years ago he bought DS2 for PS4 and said we should play together.
Since he finished Demon and Dark Souls 1 before he could give me some good tips during the game.
And i realy enjoyed the game in multiplayer, so we had lot's of fun...
Since he got a new Job and our work times where diferent we couldn't play much together so i startet Dark Souls 3 with another friend and again so much fun....
I asket him if he would play Bloodborne (was free trough PS+) or Dark Souls 1 (wich was on sale for 8€) with me, but sadly he wouldn't, so i startet Bloodborne alone, as mentiond it is way more aggressive since you got no shield and can only parry for defense.
I was not bad at Bloodborne and finished it real quick (no dlc will wait for sale) so i thought "fuck it" and tried Dark Souls 1 alone and all the training on the other games made me git gud xD
I then finished Dark Souls 2 alone and after that i returned to where it all begone and finished Demon Souls on PS3 xD
Long story short:
Souls games are very hard to get into since there is no real ingame help about when to use what weapon/what entchantment etc. but when you did find the way into the series they are soooo good.
So if you like the game maybe find someone who will play it with you and can give you some hints like my friend did.
Anyway, have fun and git gud ;-)
