There are many ancient structures in our country. These installations introduce us to ancient civilizations and give us an idea of their artifacts, lifestyle, etc. Today I will share with you about a mosque that is more than two hundred years old. I visited this mosque about 2 years ago.

This mosque is known as Nayabad Mosque. Nayabad Mosque is located in the Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. There are several ancient structures in this district. Nayabad Mosque is one of these ancient structures. This mosque is one of the finest tourist centers in the northern part of Bangladesh.

According to information obtained from a plaque at the entrance to the mosque, it is a mosque that is more than 200 years old. A temple was built near this mosque in the middle of the 18th century. Many Muslim architects and workers came to the region to build temples. Then they built this mosque for the convenience of their prayers.

And the name of the village was Nayabada. So the mosque was named Nayabad Mosque after the name of the village. This beautiful three-domed mosque used terracotta craftsmanship, most of which has disappeared. Being a listed architecture of the Bangladesh Directorate of Archeology, this mosque has undergone some renovations.

The present look of this ancient mosque will mesmerize you. If you ever come to Dinajpur city of Bangladesh then you must visit this ancient mosque. It does not take much time to go to Nayabad Masjid from Dinajpur and you can easily reach there by bus or auto.
