Beautiful Jamuna River
Several rivers flow through the northern part of Bangladesh. Jamuna River is one of these rivers. This river is smaller than the main river Jamuna. It is also called a branch river of the Jamuna River. Just a couple of weeks ago I went to Phulbari with friends. River Jamuna flows through Phulbari.
We had lunch at a hotel in Phulbari. After having lunch we were coming towards Parvatipur through a Phulbari road. On the way, we stopped at a bridge to eat amra. That bridge was located on the river Jamuna. Anyway, friends were buying amra while I was on the bridge watching the river.
I realized that this beautiful river is actually Jamuna River by looking at Google Maps. Children were bathing in the river. Some people were fishing with nets. I enjoyed these scenes after a long time. I stood on the bridge for a while looking at the river. The natural beauty of the river was mesmerizing.
It was nice to see the shade of the trees on the river bank. Here, if friends sit together and talk, it will be a great chat. It was also nice to see the reflection of the trees in the water of the river. I hope that spending time in such an environment will improve anyone's mind. We often get overwhelmed by the busyness of life. Then we need to spend time in such a natural environment to refresh our bodies and minds. And forgetting all the fatigue, we can enjoy the time in the natural environment of the river.
The natural environment of the river helps to reduce our stress. The cool breeze of the river refreshes our mind and body. Our country is a riverine country. And so rivers are a traditional form of our environment. The environment of Bengal cannot be imagined separately without rivers. Rather, the variety of forms of Bengal has been made beautiful as imagined by the numerous rivers scattered like nets. Over the ages, many writers and poets have fallen in love with the rivers of Bangladesh and have written numerous rhymes, songs, and poems about the river. I have shared with you several pictures of the Jamuna River flowing through Phulbari. Hope you like the pictures. Thanks, everyone.
