When was the last time you went to the mountain just to wander and have a good time? When was the last time you think time is too short to just enjoy every second in the middle of the crowded city? Life is too short to be taking small things for granted. Growing up in the mountain has let me witness the beauty of nature with its breathtaking view of green plants and enormous landscape.

Serving you a big smile with my view from our farm. I bet you'll be wearing the same smile once you see it yourself and inhale a dosage of fresh air!

Mornings are always the best with this kind of view. I wake up very early to see the sunrise with my cup of native coffee and my freshly-picked veggies from my garden.

There are so many things I can think of to fill my day in the mountain. I have lots of coconut trees downhill and we harvest them every after three months. The best thing to do in the afternoon is to make some delicacies like buko pie and kalamayhati that are mainly made of coconut milk. My family and I gather to eat what we cooked and spend the whole afternoon chatting and laughing over things.

My life in the mountain looking back is very simple. There is no wi-fi connection and devices that may hinder us from communicating. The time spent without our devices allows us to just be in the moment and recognize the beauty of the little things. It simply connects us and appreciate the life we have.

If I were to choose where to live after I retire whether settle in the city or in the mountain, I would definitely choose my life in the mountain and share it to people who love to explore mountain and seek calmness. I'm very excited to be sharing more in my next blog. Life is beautiful and so are you! See you!
