Ahh beautiful Thessaloniki! I miss thee very much!

Many many years ago, in my early 20s, I did my first backpacking adventure through Eastern Europe. The first destination was beautiful Greece, where i went to Amorgos to visit a friend. The boat ride from Athens to the island was very eye opening for me. Greece is just a stunning place. After some weeks I ended up Thessaloniki, it was summer and things were beautiful. I met some great friends there and we went to the beach for a swim in the Sea.

It was such a wonderful time, and your post really reminded me of it. I have to mention that the mosquitoes in Greece are SAVAGE.

At one of the hostels (i can't remember the name now) i stayed at in Thessaloniki, there was a song that played on their playlist, i didn't know the name of it then, but its become one of my favourites. Here it is:
