Midnight is the time from one day to next day. This is the moment when the date changes. This is the opposite of noon. Solar midnight is the time opposite to solar noon. Solar midnight depends on longitude and time of the year rather than on time zone. Most often midnight is considered the start of a new day and is associated with the hour 00:00. It was midnight when I arrived my home.
