When I went back into online marketing after a 5 year break, I came back knowing that, lack of patience, was at the center of my failures the first time around.
With that said, I now live focusing on the day at hand or an incremental approach to life.
Do I still struggle with some impatience? Of course, I'm human. With that said, I minimize stress by not worrying about shit that is out of my control and what I do control, I just take that day by day.
Today, being the last of the month of August; the month itself was an important step to my HIVE journey. Getting to two years as a HIVER has been an amazing path.
Through some personal rough patches in my life that last couple of years, I've had the HIVE activity keep me mentally balanced.
It's important to note, that I do have a job. I put in 40 hours plus, because I have to contribute to the household as my soon to be wife has children and I have to do my part.
If I were single, I probably would have figured out a way to still work but put even more time towards my HIVE activity.
I'm on this awesome blockchain for the long haul. I believe in it. I'm loyal to it. I don't worry about bailing, bitching, powering down, selling or anything that would fuck with my focus regarding HIVE and it's inevitable destination 馃殌
With that said, that is my reality and I don't rely on HIVE to pay my bills. I'm putting in the effort to get to that point, because if all goes well; many of us who stuck around will benefit. There is a beach town waiting for me to retire at.
As we close out another month and the summer is almost over, the NFL American Football season is a little over a week away and we position ourselves to ride out the last few months of the year; I maintain an even keel attitude towards my progress on HIVE.
Slow and steady wins the race they say, so I'm on a snails pace towards my ultimate goa; but I'm moving forward and up.
I usually do two posts regarding my progress, one mid-month and one for the last day of the month.
Do I want to much more ahead? Do I want more of everything on the list below? Do I have other investments on the chain? Outside of it?
Yes and No?
I'm focusing on those on the list below, because it's where I believe is going to set me up in the best possible situation towards my goals and some other factors that is based on ease, familiarity and trust.
I also delegate to a handful that may not be on the list above for the same reasons. If I can't invest much on a token, but believe or trust their platform then at most we can delegate HP which is amazing to have that option.
I'm encouraged so much with some of those increases in such a short time.
My ListNerds goal of maintaining a Top 10 presence is still in tact and I owe my bumps up with the numbers above to it.
What I am also stoked about is how much of a difference delegating to 
In both cases, I want to increase exponentially. When it's all said and done I would want my LEO Power to be neck and neck with my HIVE Power.
I know I may shit on, the online marketing off chain stuff and truth be told; I wouldn't have ended up on HIVE without going through that process and joining CTP years ago and then making the smart move of taking their ascent into this blockchain, seriously enough to join HIVE, because of them.
That also is why, I still put in some time to the email marketing off chain ; but now it's to solely tell my subscribers about my HIVE journey and hopefully a handful of those folks will find their way here at some point in the future.
Again, patience and growing the list to where there are a lot more people to tell it to.
With the pivot to wanting to be more HIVE centric in my messages, I basically was starting from scratch and it's been a positive growth so far.
For the month of August generating 55 subscribers was pretty good in my opinion, especially the minimal effort I put into it; because I want to put most of my free time towards my HIVE activity:
and to date my subscriber total for the one campaign I solely focus on has reached 246 subscribers in about half of year with minimal effort, but providing them with content pertaining to CTP, HIVE and ListNerds for the most part.
My optimism is at an all-time high despite some of the negative impact to market numbers on and off-chain, but I'm part of this resilient community for a reason. We keep moving forward!!!
