Greetings,

It’s been a while I’ve blogged here well it’s mostly because I’ve been busy with preparations for school. But now everything in school has been settled now I can be learning in whiles blogging. I’ve got a lot to share with you guys. Let’s go.

As part of my new year resolution, I have set certain goals I want to accomplish this year, one of them is to learn at least 5 new skills. So in accordance to that, I’m here to share with you my crocheting skills. I had my sister teach me how she weaves her hats and bags I haven’t gotten the whole process yet but I’ve made progress and I’m here to show you that.

Before you start with the crocheting process, you will need to buy the tread. And the needle. FYI!, it’s not the normal ones we use at our homes.

So now let’s start the process from scratch. The first things she taught me to do. Is to we start by tying at one end of the rope and making sure that you don’t completely tighten it up such that the will still some kind of hole in the middle. This will help you to be able you crochet very easily.

After, you have created the hole, you can now start weaving by putting the needle inside the whole, entangle the needle with the other end of the rope and pull it out of the hole. Like this.

You keep repeating the process until you have the desired length you want.

After getting your required length, it’s now time to build up on that length and whiles doing that you have you close the two lengths together. It’s quite tricky doing that, you need to put the needle at one end and make sure you pass it through the other end entangle it with some tread and pull it out.

Now you can start building on the thickness of the hat. By repeating the process apart from the part we joined the other end to the other. If you continue to weave the thread you should have something like this.

This where I’ve got to for now, I will be sure to update on the rest of the process and how it’s done. Thank you for passing by and see you on the next one.
