WRIO Internet OS

WRIO Internet OS is an open-source Ethereum-based platform (PaaS) for cloud and distributed mashup apps (SaaS) that creates a secure browser-driven operating system. It provides an API-free, global, decentralized pool of open, shareable, reusable, and machine-readable semantic data, featuring a user-centric Web 3.0.

Machine-readable web is the first prerequisite for the computers to learn how to process the natural language. With the development of the project it will implement subsequent measures to solve the Chinese room problem. They will be related to the development of Semantic Field and machine learning algorithms that will be discussed individually after the announcement of Individual Assistant project.

Entrance to the Web 3.0

Nodes are a cloud version of WRIO Internet OS and a guide into the world of Web 3.0. WRIO OS nodes can be both public and private for either personal use or for use by a limited group of people interrelated through business/personal interests. If WRIO Internet OS browser, plugin or mobile app is used, WRIO OS nodes are no longer needed.

How it Works

WRIO Internet OS is a PaaS and its cloud applications are SaaS, operating on remote servers. Such services do not need to be installed, configured or updated by the user; resource-hungry operations are performed on the server's side, while the client receives the final results. Thus, the applications in their turn act as conventional desktop programs, and it intends to replace desktop OS’s in the near future.

webGold — Gold Standard

webGold is the native ERC20 token of The Alternative and is required for settlements between WRIO Internet OS projects. This cryptocurrency has been developed to ensure correct functioning of the Rating, which is based on equilibrium Crediting, and thus requires a steady exchange rate, a unique feature of webGold. It is identified either by symbol ☉, or by WGD.

Although the initial cost of webGold has been pegged to gold (1,000 WGD = 1g gold, about $40), limited offers and speculative expectations will make their adjustments. The lower limit of webGold volatility is determined by book value, while the upper limit is determined by the Emission.

The book value is determined by the webGold token amount / The Alternative fund ratio. The Alternative’s fund is secured by cryptocurrency raised during the Crowdsale and the value of DAOs tokens. If at the moment of Crowdsale the ratio is 100:0, in time it will undergo a 180-degree turn, and webGold will be secured by the value of the DAOs’ assets – The Alternative crypto-economy.
