I’m so excited heading to the car park as I can finally go home earlier today. Only to find out that my car is being “surrounded” by 5 cars. And the most important thing is none of the car owners leave behind their phone numbers! Like seriously??
Its is an open space parking area, you can park anywhere, as long as you do not block people’s cars. Normally there is 2 rows of car in the middle of the open area. However, this car owner just simply leave his car on my left and blocking my way out. When he just simply leave his car like that, it is like blocking the whole passageway. Other car owners have no choice but use the other way to pass by the areas.
I believe every responsible and mindful adults are aware that they need to leave the phone numbers behind when they double park and make sure they do not block the passageway.
I understand that it is very difficult to find parking most of the time in crowded areas like government hospital. There are so many people coming in to hospital everyday with very limited parking. Double park or even triple park is just so common these days.
But please be mindful and considerate enough to at least leave your phone number on the dashboard. If you do not leave phone numbers, how does people supposed to contact you to move your car?? What if other people have emergency but he was blocked by you? Make sure you pick up the phone as well if you ever double park. I guess some people just simply never learnt the lesson.
If there is really an emergency situation that you must block other people’s car, and no time at all to leave your contact number, do make sure you come back as soon as possible.
The take home message is: be considerate and practice the courtesy of double park everywhere you go!
