Hello Hive Music Lovers! It’s another beautiful Tuesday and I’m here to share some of the beautiful songs I listen to. This initiative originated from our very own @ablaze and if you’d like to know what it’s all about, you can read this post.
The reasons I picked the songs I did may be considered weird.😅 I don’t know who else does this, but when I’m about to buy a new set of headphones or earpiece in most case, there are couple of songs I listen to, to check the quality of the earpiece. These songs have high bass and so if the earpiece doesn’t give me that rhythmic bliss, I know it’s not the one and try another. So, I’ve picked three of these kind of songs to share with us today.
First,
Harder by Jax, Bebe Rexha
This song was released on July, 2019. Apart from it’s powerful beat which just makes the song so melodious to the ears, its meaning is also clear when you listen to the lyrics. I wouldn’t want to impose my own views on the song till you listen, but I think it means gloating on how hard you think you’ve loved a person, whereas it’s not nearly enough. Saying simply "when you think you've loved enough, can you love me harder."🌺
The next song is,
Chosen by Blxst ft. Ty Dolla $ign &Tyga
This song was released in December of 2020. To be honest, what drove me to loving this song had almost nothing to do with the lyrics, because I still don’t know most of the lines, and everything to do with the rhythm. It just floods your senses. Big secret, I’d listen to it when I’m taking a stroll and somehow walk in accordance to the beat😂. It's a song you'd listen to with this slow movement. Allowing the rhythm to seep into your being. It's actually that good for me.✨
And lastly,
Treat Myself by Meghan Trainor
And how would I ever leave this song out. It was released in January of 2020 by Meghan and it has never failed to completely marvel me each time I listen to it. There’s this background beat to it that doesn’t calm me at all but rather makes me move my body. You just find yourself vibing to it, and unconsciously moving your head or other parts of your body in rhythm to it. It screams perfection. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s centered on self-love and doing right by yourself. Treating yourself as important because you matter. Sparing no expense to ensure you give yourself the best possible treatment you can, materially but most of all mentally.🥂
I hope you all enjoy these songs and have as much fun listening to them as I do. I promise you won’t regret it. In the meantime, I’d appreciate feedback and general comments.❤️
