I Heart You || Dreemie Challenge

It’s the second week of the Dreemport Marathon in collaboration with the Hey Have Ya Met Community which caters to the support of the newbies in our midst. The first week of this marathon provided me and other members of my teem the opportunity to interact with these newbies and try to support and encourage them in the labyrinth that is Hive.

Through this marathon, newbies and other older users have become active engagers on #leothreads, #twitter and #ecencywaves and it’s wonderful to see all of us collectively pooling in our time and effort towards making it to the finish line.

This week presented itself with another fun challenge which is, creating our Teem symbol and also coming up with ours individually. It was fun to see the different ideas that came up. As the symbol is supposed to be symbolic of what our Teem represents, we needed to showcase our Teem in wonderful light, hence the picture below by our very able @george-dee was accepted as the Teem’s symbol.

I like the fact that we were very literal with our symbol, lol. I’m sure if there was a way to show our fists breaking through our palms, we’d definitely go for that. As we can’t though, this suffices quite nicely and I appreciate the effort to create this.

Then, I thought of mine and without a doubt knew what I’d pick as my symbol. I’m all about the fun part of this marathon, even more than the actual challenges and I thought there was a need to emphasize that if we don’t have you know a communal love and support for ourselves, there’s no way we’d get to the finish line. Hence, I came up with this. _{(I know, the Korean in me couldn’t resist.)}

This means “I heart you.” And I used it specifically because, in the past week, my teem members have shown nothing but love and support for me. Even when I was down, the members and our amiable coach specifically, @kenechukwu97, kept checking in and motivating me and letting me know that it was okay to take my time. Those nice words spurred me to put in my all so as not to disappoint my teem.

That’s about it guys, Teem #limitbreakers is essentially breaking through whatever barriers we face individually and as a group and most of all showing love and support towards one another. I’m proud to be a part of this group and I believe that together, we’ll scale through and that too, successfully!
