Hello Hive and welcome to another segment of #threetunestuesday where we bring to you three of our favourite tunes each week, a movement started by @ablaze.
And if you want to know the jist behind #ttt, this is it.
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
You can see the lastest post from @ablaze here with his recommendations from Week 98.
Moving to our tunes for the week, I’m presenting to you an icon. He’s a wonderful artiste who is underrated and not given enough accolades. Kizz Daniel is one man that isn’t known to drop songs on the regular. There’s quite an interval between his songs but when he eventually drops it, it takes the country by storm.
I’ll give you three of my favourites today.
First is,
Lie
I’m not going to lie, I loved the first part of this song the most in the entire song, no pun intended. It’s a song talking about how much he values the girl’s vibe and doesn’t really care about her body type. Now, it doesn’t sound exactly true to me but then again, the title of the song is Lie, so, who knows? Just kidding though, but this song as usual to Kizz Daniel’s music is filled with a lot of vibes and love.
The next is,
Mama
I love this song so much because of the memories it holds. I have a lot of fun-filled and love-filled memories tied to it. And since it’s been a while since I listened to it or even heard it played anywhere, I was immediately swept with nostalgia. Kizz Daniel sings a lot about love and this song is his promise to the girl in question to love and cherish. You’ll get the feeling of just dancing beautifully with your loved one.
The last is,
Buga ft Tekno
I don’t think there’s anyone in the country or maybe even outside it that hasn’t heard of this song. It practically took the country by storm. The vibe in this song is beyond fire. And a lot of videos came out with it. To be honest, I don’t exactly understand the lyrics to this song nor do I bother. If there’s ever a song that prompts even the most not dance-inclined person to dance, it’s definitely this one.
So, there you have it guys. My three favourites of Kizz. Don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know what other favourites you have.
Have a wonderful day.❤️
