Crypto malware

!!!UPDATE!!! Thanks to @bwells for pointing out that computing power was being stolen (which is still not a good situation, since the user is unaware), not actual coins and that Coinhive is a legit company. It's great when us fellow steemians inform each other on inaccuracies. Truly appreciated.

Apparently there was a outbreak of crypto-mining malware known as "Coinhive" that has effected more than 55% of the world's businesses. The biggest comapany involved was Youtube. Youtube's parent company, Google, stated that computers were receiving the malware through ads that the hackers placed on the site. The most effect countries were Japan, France, Taiwan, Italy and Spain.

While google and Trend Micro, a cyber security company, have stated the issue has been dealt with, they are still being deliberately private on the extent of the damage.
