These are some of the highlighted lessons learnt from today’s mass indoctrination day 3 in zoom.

Brother Eli was able to point out from the Bible, what God’s doctrine is, and this can be found in the book of
1 Thessalonians 5:21 which says "but test everything; hold fast what is good."

Well, from my understanding, this is a very clear message from the Word Of God. Which implies that, we shouldn’t rush into conclusions, we should not just listen to someone else tell us something and say this is from the Bible, we must learnt to test all things and keep/hold fast to what is good.
Now, after understanding that, you might want to ask, what do you test everything with, let’s say for example, you want to buy a light bulb for your home, you won’t just buy it and take it home without testing to see of it’s good, so you plug it to a reliable electric source and IF it works, you can then keep it.
In the same manner, you test all things with the Holy Bible, and if what you test is good, then keep it and make it a part of you.
Next point i would like to highlight from Brother Eli’s teaching is the part he spoke about prayer. This is a very delicate topic because it is one way we communicate to our Lord God, Therefore it has to be done with care and respect.
Let’s say you want to ask your father or mother for a favor, you don’t just walk into their bedroom and say anything you like, you might rub off as been rude, the polite way to do it is to greet them first, then go ahead to lay whatever the problem is, also in a polite way, then there is a reasonable chance of you getting what you asked for.
If we can do that to our earthly parents, how much more our Heavenly Father, we have to approach him with a sense of respect and politeness.
We might want to ask what is the right way to pray? Or how should one pray?. To answer this, Brother Eli, read from the Bible, the book of
Matthew 6:7-8 which says “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him”.

From my own understanding, i see repeating prayer as a lack of faith in God, if you are in faith, you trust God that His ears are open to hear even our silent request, so when you keep repeating your prayer, it shows that you are doubting that God did not hear the first time you said it. So when you pray, express your faith that God has heard and your prayer is been answered because the Bible say in
1 John 5:15, NLT: "And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for."
Brother Eli also when further to show us in the book of
Proverbs 15:8 “The Lord detests the sacrifice(A) of the wicked,(B)
but the prayer of the upright pleases him.(C)“.

The above verse also points to us that, before approaching God, it is best to be upright, in fact, it is mandatory for us to be upright because the prayer of a sinner is an abomination in the sight of God. This can be seen clearly in
1 Peter 3:12, KJV: "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." ... But the face of the Lord is against those who do what is evil."

Furthermore, Brother Eli also talked about, our posture when prayer, he highlighted that, it is proper to kneel and bow before God during prayer because it shows our sign of respect for Him. He also said, if we are in a situation where kneeling down is not possible, only then we can stand, as the Bible also supports this, in the book of
Mark 11:25, NIV: "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

I can go on and on talking about how blessed i am from the Mass Indoctrination but i have to stop somehwere, i would encourage everyone to be a part of the next one, because i can promise you, you would be blessed.
Thank you very much for your time.
