Here are my thoughts on today’s bible study.
Brother Eli mentioned during the Bible study that God created man from the ground and not evolving out of apes as some people believe it to be, we can see this in Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Brother Eli went further to show scientifically that apes have 48 chromosomes while humans have 46 chromosomes.
With the power of God, the earth is alive and from the earth, all the living creatures sprung forth, it is a spontaneous process.
It’s amazing to see that everything is in a way interconnected, example flowers and bees go together, humans and trees go together, beetle and pigs coexistence. So the ecology is disturbed if we kill one and allow the other to breed more without balance.
Brother Eli also used the example of a carpenter to describe the awesomeness of God and how precise He has shaped everything. He said it is because there is a carpenter that understands the measurements of your chair and tables, if not it would be too large for you. The chair and table do not just come from nowhere to serve you. It is the carpenter that makes the plan. God, in a similar way is the Master Planner of everything that was created.
We also learnt that invincible things were first created by God before the visible things Colossians 1:16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
Visible came from the invincible according to Hebrew 11:3 which says “through faith we understand that the worlds were formed by the words of God, so the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”.
We can observe it in nature that oxygen is a gas, hydrogen is a gas, we cannot see gas, that makes it invincible. But out of that invincibility, 2 molecules of oxygen + 2 molecules of hydrogen gives you water which is visible for our eyes.
Thank you for reading through my article.
