During October, Splinterlands implemented a Division System for Modern, Wild, and Survival. It's a change from the original tiers where you could use max level cards at any league. For each league, your Glint is based on the amount of SPS you have staked, and each tier has a maximum amount to get the most SPS from it. This changes it so that people can choose a more appropriate league. I find this to be a good way to split up the players, and I choose the Silver bracket this time around.

The Division System

In these systems, players choose the division they want to be in for the entire season (half a month), and depending on the points you get, you are placed in higher leagues. The higher you are in a league, the more Glint you earn. As you advance in Divisions, you gain more Glint and you still get chests from advancing into a new league.

When you win a match, you get reward points and Glint. I am guessing the reward points are what we will be exchanging into SPS at the end of the season. There is a minimum amount to see the maximum value from the reward pool.

Finally, I found the first two division leagues (Division 8 and 9) are quite simple. I was able to just use similar lineups with Daarg to just wipe out my opponent.

Conclusion

It's a new battle system in Splinterlands, and it's been fun trying it out. I find that the first three divisions weren't so bad, but I am starting to lose more in Division 6. I think I like this system a bit more than the previous system, but I am wondering just how much SPS I would get from the reward points. Is it worth going to a higher league and a bigger win rate because the rewards are better? I am just not sure, as it can change the meta for things.

What do you think about the Division System?
