You can't gatekeep people, and you need various different content. If you don't like something, just ignore it and move on. There is no point in trying to be hypocritical. What you think is bad might be what another person enjoys. Overall, we need more users and give them a reason for not leaving. Gatekeeping content is not going to help the retention of users.
