I don't plan on selling any LBI but I think the rebalancing would probably be needed. I think what HIVE loans is doing might help you but its currently still in its testing phase. By using your staked HP as collateral (and maybe 2nd layer tokens), you can have some HIVE available. I am not sure how easy it would fit your plans though.
