Ever found yourself wanting the original image file from an Instagram post?
On a mobile, you either have to screenshot and crop (reduced resolution) or find an app that will do it for you, time consuming and sometimes doesn't even work! Other than that, it can be a bit of a pain in the a**!
On PC desktops, the trusty right-click and 'Save Image As' is unfortunately not an option. And like screenshots, Print Screen results in odd proportions and lower resolution

Using right click on your desktop while hovering over the desired image will bring up a list of options, select 'View Page Source'.You will be presented with the webpage in raw html.
The easiest way to find the pic your looking for, is to 'Ctrl+F' or 'Cmd+F' to bring up the search bar and type '.jpg'
The main Instagram picture will most likely be the first .jpg shown.
Highlight the entire URL like so and copy;
Paste this link into your browser address bar, and navigate to it.
You will now be shown the original image from the Instagram servers in which you can use the familiar right-click and 'Save Image As'
and now Save to your computer!!
