Naturally or by tradition, the song of the cicadas lets us know that winter is approaching or on the other hand, summer. It all depends on the sound of the cicadas singing.
It is a kind of relentless vibration that some love and others hate. Some wait and others cannot wait for them to finish.
What fantastic creatures with life cycles so strange, long and short at the same time. Can you understand me?
Some cicadas can live up to fifteen years in their nymph form, buried in the ground feeding on the nutrient-rich sage from tree roots. Once they enter their adult state, they live for up to two weeks.
There are so many different species with their special song and unique frequencies. They seem to sing on time and out of season.
They are a mystery from the bowels of the earth.
