Our tour in Spain was a dream come true. Speaking Spanish it is normal that most of our friends have migrated to this country, so in every city we visited we found friends that music has given us. Jhoxiris and I had four very special people exclusive to the two of us. One of them is Allixon, former choir member and Jhoxi's best friend. The other two were ph1102 and mipiano, and just as they left for home our fourth person arrived from Portugal, little Emily who is now older than us and is the oldest friendship, as we sang with her in our hometown choir. It was a very crazy moment, as after many hugs and a couple of tears we had to separate until the evening because there was a surprise musical activity we had to fulfill.
Nuestra gira por Espa帽a fue un sue帽o hecho realidad. Al hablar en espa帽ol es normal que la mayor铆a de nuestros amigos hayan migrado hasta este pa铆s, as铆 que en cada ciudad que visitamos encontramos amigos que la m煤sica nos ha regalado. Jhoxiris y yo ten铆amos cuatro personas muy especiales y exclusivas de nosotros dos. Uno de ellos es Allixon, ex-integrante de la coral y mejor amigo de Jhoxi. Los otros dos fueron ph1102 y mipiano, y justo cuando ellos partieron a su hogar lleg贸 desde Portugal nuestra cuarta persona, la peque帽a Emily que ahora es m谩s grande que nosotros y que es la amistad m谩s antigua, ya que cantamos con ella en el coro de nuestra ciudad natal. Fue un momento muy loco, ya que despu茅s de muchos abrazos y un par de l谩grimas tuvimos que separarnos hasta la noche porque sali贸 una actividad musical sorpresa que ten铆amos que cumplir.
This wonderful meeting took place on Good Friday, the day before our last concert in Madrid. She stopped by the Hotel to say hello and then in the evening we went out to walk around Madrid, since she didn't know the Spanish capital either. We were accompanied by her boy Christian, another Venezuelan who is actually from our hometown, so we felt like family. The exchange of gifts is vital in these cases, in fact the gift we gave her was not only from Jhoxiris and me, but from the whole whatsApp group that has a beautiful friendship since the late 2000s. I loved the gifts she gave us, in fact as I write these lines I'm drinking one of them 馃槄
Este maravilloso encuentro se dio el Viernes Santo, un d铆a antes de nuestro 煤ltimo concierto en Madrid. Ella pas贸 por el Hotel a saludar y luego en la noche salimos a pasear por Madrid, ya que tampoco conoc铆a la capital espa帽ola. Nos acompa帽贸 su chico Christian, otro venezolano que de hecho es de nuestra ciudad natal, as铆 que nos sentimos en familia. El intercambio de obsequios es vital en estos casos, de hecho el obsequio que nosotros le dimos a ella no era solo de parte de Jhoxiris y yo, sino de todo el grupito de whatsApp que conserva una amistad hermosa desde finales de la d茅cada de los 2000. Am茅 los obsequios que ella nos hizo a nosotros, de hecho mientras escribo estas l铆neas me estoy bebiendo uno de ellos 馃槄
Emily and her mom are very important people for Jhoxiris and me for several reasons, but one of them is that they got us a place in Caracas to live, you know, I don't know if you remember the story of the Se帽ora de las Tortas. They were friends and they got us to live with some stability in Caracas for 10 years until the Se帽ora literally put the cake. In fact Emily lived with us for a season, and not just any season, it was nothing more and nothing less than the time when Jhoxiris and I were falling in love and she witnessed it all and was our accomplice 鉂わ笍 How not to love Emily and how not to be happy with this reunion?... The next day he was lucky enough to get into our concert, I think he queued very early and that's why he made it, and on Sunday we tried, but we could not see each other, but we hope that this experience will be repeated soon, the truth is that Emily always leaves us, but in one way or another life brings us together in some corner of this world.
Emily y su mam谩 son personas muy importantes para Jhoxiris y para m铆 por diversas razones, pero una de ellas es que nos consiguieron un lugar en Caracas para vivir, ya saben, no s茅 si recuerdan la historia de la Se帽ora de las Tortas. Eran amigas y consiguieron que vivi茅ramos con cierta estabilidad en Caracas por 10 a帽os hasta que la Se帽ora literalmente puso la torta. De hecho Emily vivi贸 con nosotros una temporada, y no una temporada cualquiera, era nada m谩s y nada menos que la 茅poca en que Jhoxiris y yo nos est谩bamos enamorando y ella lo presenci贸 todo y fue nuestra c贸mplice 鉂わ笍 驴C贸mo no amar a Emily y como no ser felices con este reencuentro?... Al d铆a siguiente tuvo la suerte de entrar a nuestro concierto, creo que hizo la cola desde muy temprano y por eso lo logr贸, y ya el Domingo lo intentamos, pero no pudimos vernos, pero esperamos que esta experiencia se repita pronto, la verdad es que Emily siempre se nos va, pero de una u otra manera la vida nos junta en alg煤n rinc贸n de este mundo.
