Hester Peirce, The SEC commissioner, better known as the crypto mom. She made a previous comparison of bitcoin and the internet shutdown.

Inconsistent actions taken by the SEC and other regulatory agencies in the United States have already induced the North American country to lose its leadership in digital finance. so Hester Peirce, states that "she does not exclude the possibility of governments outlawing bitcoin, but given how many people already use it and how many institutional investors have come to the market, it will be futile."

Given that these actions will only propel the United States into its own financial decline in economic matters, thus losing its global leadership.
The U.S. is full of pure conundrums, where it is obviously affected by a lack of maturity in the area of control, sanctions and bans. How can the U.S. "tighten control" over certain digital assets such as the Chinese digital yuan? Can it ban it? Will it be possible?

The U.S. government is concerned that the Chinese digital yuan could overthrow the U.S. dollar as the world's dominant reserve currency, which is why it is constantly contemplating sanctions against the Chinese currency and government.

I particularly agree with crypto mom. Any ban in the crypto industry leads to irretrievable losses and loss of leadership in the most important industry: crypto finance. i particularly think it is an ego issue and lack of dialogue between both sides, i don't know what you guys think about it.

But to think or say on the part of governments that shutting down the internet to stop this crypto movement would be totally stupid, it would generate more uncertainty and problems than solutions. This only demonstrates the lack of maturity in the digital finance issue.
