ENGLISH VERSION
Within our financial planning path, which should be something common in every human being who wants to have peace of mind in their finances, there are at least three basic actions that we must perform, which complement each other, these are savings, investment and diversification, one leads to the other, from my point of view. Therefore, I have thought of the following phrase: "When one saves, one subtracts, when one invests, one adds, but when one diversifies, one multiplies " Next, I will develop its meaning:
Subtracting with savings
Although in a first consideration saving may be considered something that brings us benefits, even something in which we are educated in childhood, in reality this is not entirely true, since if we only dedicate ourselves to this activity, if we make a general balance, there are more losses than gains, especially if we save in assets that lose their purchasing power over time, as it is - for example - fiat money.
In addition to this, no one is a fortune teller to accurately consider all the possible unforeseen events that any asset may have, not only in itself but due to circumstances that are out of our hands. This is what, for example, has happened with Bitcoin in recent years, where, due to various factors, it has not been able to reach its full potential on the charts. For those who have only stayed in this asset, without doing anything else, these years have not been very good financially speaking.
Adding up with investments
I once heard a saying: "Money calls money", therefore, a balanced financial planning can not be limited to savings, we must also seek that money moves, in a way following the principle that "movement is life", well, in investments what it is precisely about is to put the money to produce for us, this we can not do effectively with any asset hence the need to study very well where we put our money.
Here there are several ways to follow, particularly one of those that I like the most is the compound interest, since it goes very close to the point of saving, but it enhances it, because, what is generated of interest is reinvested in such a way that little by little the capital grows and, consequently, our savings. An example is that the 20% interest that the HBD gives us in savings, we reinvest it monthly.
Multiplying with diversification
From mathematics we know that although the addition (addition) operation is beneficial, better is the multiplication, therefore, diversification is the crown of a balanced financial planning, since it leads us to instead of having a single savings and a single source of investment, to have several of the same. For this reason, a basic but very effective financial advice is to be clear about our income (which should also be diversified) and from the same set aside a percentage (the largest) for expenses (expenses), then one for savings and another for investment.
In the case of investment in the financial market, the best thing to do here is not to stay in only one sector (cryptocurrencies, for example) but also to consider the others: stocks, commodities, forex, among others, since each one has moments of better stability and thrust than the others. Even in each one the ideal is to continue diversifying, for example, in cryptocurrencies leave the largest percentage for the largest capitalization, such as $BTC and $ETH but also invest in other good projects ($HIVE, for example) and even a very small percentage to speculate (in memecoins, for example). There is a famous phrase that illustrates this very well: "we should not put all our eggs in one basket ".
