Hello Dan, how insighfully you write. It is true that we are imperfect and as such with some defects but we are not to rest on those defects but strive to overcome them. We have virtues which emanate from God. Thus, God is virtuous and as His children we are to be virtuous too. We are to make efforts daily to overcome our weaknesses and live virtuously.
