Glad you finally gave Dungeon Meshi a chance! Yeah, I've seen it and it's super addictive, isn't it? The premise of eating the monsters in the dungeon sounds freaky at first, but the way they approach it, and especially how the food looks, it really whets your appetite! I love how they switch from action to “monster cooking class” so seamlessly.

And yes, the characters are the best. That dynamic between Laios all excited to try new critters, Marcille suffering, Chilchuck being the sensible one and Senshi with his passion for cooking anything is hilarious! It's true what you say, it's an “eat or be eaten” world, but they put a very humorous and adventurous spin on it.
