I really appreciate your honesty, because there's nothing worse than when the romance feels forced or the male lead is unlikeable from the start (and even worse if he's an immature adult... how annoying!). You've saved me some time, because if it promised to be a lighthearted Christmas read but ends up being just "meh" with a rushed ending, I'd rather skip it.
