Happy New Year! What a lovely way to start 2026 talking about Ghibli; I totally share your obsession. Ugh, I have a funny feeling about Grave of the Fireflies: I recognize that it's a technical and narrative masterpiece, but I think it's the only film I promised myself I'd never watch again. It's too painful and real; it leaves your heart shattered, especially because of Setsuko's innocence amidst so much cruelty. Excellent recommendations!
