In today’s world, the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment cannot be overstated. From reducing pollution to promoting sustainability, each individual’s role in environmental responsibility matters. Among the most powerful groups who can drive positive change are students. As the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators, students have a unique opportunity to set the tone for environmental stewardship.

By taking responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean, they not only contribute to a healthier planet but also inspire others to join the cause. This blog explores the vital role students play in environmental cleanliness, offering insights into how simple actions on campus and in local communities can create lasting impacts on the world.

Today, I wanna share one of our contribution to the community which is part of our responsibility in school. In my course BS in Computer Science, we have this one subject which is NSTP or National Service Training Program and there are two categories on this subject, ROTC and CWTS or Civic Welfare Training Service, so as a community member who has a heart for environment I choose this program. We we're scheduled last last week February 15, 2025. We decided to choose this place near in highway road.

It was one fine very hot morning, we started 9 am and ended 10-11 am.

As you can see, we we're picking plastics because there's a lot of plastics in the roadside.

In addition, students can lead by example, showing that small actions can have a big impact. Whether it’s reducing plastic usage, planting trees, or simply picking up litter, these everyday practices can help make the world a cleaner place. The key is for students to understand that they have the power to drive change, no matter how small their contributions may seem.

I’ve learned so much about how to take good care of our dear community. Cleanliness truly starts with us, in our own homes. As part of today’s generation, we are pioneers who understand the importance of cleanliness. We must lead by example, inspire others to follow, and pass this responsibility on to the next generations.
