Hoy les traigo un un Estuche para tijera punta roma, específicamente las escolares. Es un detalle que es fácil de elaborar, éste lo decoré con flores. Cuando tienes niños en la familia, ya sean tus hijos o sobrinos en edad escolar, este estuche es muy práctico para regalárselos y así incentivarlos a mantener el orden de sus cosas, ya que le das un lugar especifico a la tijeras que son parte de sus útiles escolares, por supuesto para ellos la decoración seria alguna imagen de su comiquita favorita o alguna cosa especial que les guste.

Today I bring you a Scissor case for blunt scissors, specifically the school ones. It is a detail that is easy to elaborate, I decorated it with flowers. When you have children in the family, whether your children or nephews in school age, this case is very practical to give them and thus encourage them to keep order of their things, as you give a specific place to the scissors that are part of their school supplies, of course for them the decoration would be an image of their favorite cartoon or something special that they like.

También puede ser un obsequio para la maestra, ellas que dedican gran parte de su vida a educar a nuestros hijos merecen que le demostremos lo importante que es su trabajo. Podría ser este estuche, que es muy bonito y delicado, además le daría un toque personal a sus utensilios de trabajo.
No necesitamos que sea un día especifico como el día del maestro para hacerles saber lo importante que son, podemos darles un pequeño detalle, estoy segura que seria bien recibido.

It can also be a gift for the teacher, they who dedicate a great part of their lives to educate our children deserve that we show them how important their work is. It could be this case, which is very nice and delicate, it would also give a personal touch to their work utensils.
We don't need a specific day like teacher's day to let them know how important they are, we can give them a small detail, I'm sure it would be well received.

Una hoja de papel de reciclaje
Foami (o Goma eva): azul y fucsia escarchado, rosado, verde (dos tonos), amarillo y anaranjado.

A mis hijas les gusta hacer manualidades y siempre quedan retazos, en este caso solo compre los escarchados, pero es una buena inversión, porque no se utiliza todo y queda para otra ocasión.

My daughters like to make crafts and there are always scraps left over, in this case I only bought the frosted ones, but it is a good investment, because not everything is used and is left for another occasion.

PROCEDIMIENTO
PROCEDURE

Vamos a utilizar la hoja de reciclaje, le realizamos un doblez a la mitad y colocamos sobre ella la tijera, también por la mitad, la más alta, a la cual le vamos a elaborar el estuche. Debemos tomar en cuenta el espacio para pegar las piezas y para ello dejamos un centímetro en la parte de abajo, esto con el fin de que cuando se introduzca la tijera no se despegue tan fácilmente, luego procedemos a marcar el patrón en la hoja y lo recortamos.

We are going to use the recycling sheet, we fold it in half and place the scissors on it, also in half, the highest one, to which we are going to make the case. We must take into account the space to glue the pieces and for this we leave a centimeter at the bottom, this so that when the scissors are introduced it does not come off so easily, then we proceed to mark the pattern on the sheet and cut it out.

En el patrón que acabamos de recortar realizamos una marca a la altura en que deseamos que quede la pieza que cubrirá a la tijera. Procedemos a marcar en el foami, a la de arriba le hacemos unas ondas en el borde como decoración y procedemos a recortar ambas piezas.

On the pattern that we have just cut out, we make a mark at the height where we want the piece that will cover the scissors to be. We proceed to mark on the EVA foam, we make some waves on the edge of the top piece as decoration and proceed to cut out both pieces.

Antes de pegar las piezas procedemos a realizar una serie de marcas que se asemejan a un remache, esto lo realizaremos con la ayuda de un yesquero, con el cual calentamos la cabeza de un tornillo y luego lo colocamos sobre el foami para dejar impresa la marca. La distancia entre las marcas la hice tomando como medida mi dedo y fue mas rápido.

Before gluing the pieces we proceed to make a series of marks that resemble a rivet, this will be done with the help of a tinder, with which we heat the head of a screw and then place it on the EVA foam to leave the mark printed. I measured the distance between the marks with my finger and it was faster.

Quise hacer estas marcas en el foami para mostrarles que se puede hacer diferentes diseños utilizando otros objetos, siempre y cuando puedas calentarlos para que dejen su huella.

I wanted to make these marks on the EVA foam to show you that you can make different designs using other objects, as long as you can heat them up to make their mark.

Procedemos a pegar las piezas, luego cuando las tenemos juntas recortamos cualquier imperfectos para que queden parejas. Yo uso una hoja de reciclaje para colocar la pistola de silicón y así no ensucio la mesa de trabajo.

We proceed to glue the pieces together, then when we have them together we cut out any imperfections so that they are even. I use a recycling sheet to place the silicone gun so I don't make a mess on the work table.

Ahora vamos a elaborar las flores; para hacer el patrón dibujamos en el papel un cuadrado de 4 cm , lo recortamos y doblamos a la mitad y luego otra vez hasta quedar un cuadrado pequeño, le realizamos la marca con la forma que deseamos sea el pétalo de la flor, esta marca debe llegar lo mas abajo posible para que al recortar los petaros queden bien separados uno del otro.

Now we are going to elaborate the flowers; to make the pattern we draw on the paper a square of 4 cm, we cut it and fold it in half and then again until we get a small square, we make the mark with the shape that we want to be the petal of the flower, this mark should reach as low as possible so that when cutting the petals are well separated from each other.

Acá tenemos el patrón de la flor ya recortada y mostramos como queda en el foami. Ese mismo patrón lo reducimos un poco para sacar la otra flor que es mas pequeña.
Con la ayuda de la regla de figuras marcamos directo en el foami un circulo pequeño que será el centro de la flor.

Here we have the pattern of the flower already cut out and we show how it looks on the EVA foam. This same pattern we reduce it a little to get the other flower which is smaller.
With the help of the ruler we mark directly on the EVA foam a small circle that will be the center of the flower.

Con la ayuda de la plancha procedemos a calentar el foami para que tome la forma deseada, luego pegamos las piezas y listo ya tenemos nuestra primera florecita.

With the help of the iron we proceed to heat the EVA foam so that it takes the desired shape, then we glue the pieces and ready we have our first flower.

Con nuestros dedos hacemos presión a la flor para que tome mejor la forma abultada, como se ve en la imágenes.

With our fingers we make pressure to the flower so that it takes better the bulging form, as it is seen in the images.

Acá observamos las diferentes combinaciones de colores con los que elaboraremos las dos flores que faltan. También sacamos en papel el patrón de la hoja, luego lo pasamos al foami y recortamos la primera hoja de las tres que utilizaremos.

Here we can see the different combinations of colors with which we will make the two missing flowers. We also draw on paper the pattern of the leaf, then we transfer it to the EVA foam and cut out the first leaf of the three we will use.

Con la ayuda de un pincel o un palillo procedemos a pintar con el color negro la vena de las hojas, yo utilice el palillo porque se me hizo mas fácil hacer la lineal. Con la pintura amarilla le realizamos un borde a la tapa del estuche, haciendo presión con el pincel y repetimos este procedimiento pero con el color blanco para darle como una especie de brillo o contraste en treslos colores.

With the help of a brush or a toothpick we proceed to paint with the black color the vein of the leaves, I used the toothpick because it was easier to make the line. With the yellow paint we make a border to the lid of the case, making pressure with the brush and we repeat this procedure but with the white color to give it a kind of brightness or contrast in three colors.

Ahora pegamos nuestras florecitas y después le pegamos las hojas por debajo de las flores, como se muestra en las imágenes.

Now we glue our little flowers and then we glue the leaves underneath the flowers, as shown in the pictures.

En un pedazo de foami practicamos el diseño que le haremos en el borde al estuche, hacemos la combinación de los colores, a una cantidad de amarillo se le agrega muy poca de roja para así hacer el naranja que es el que utilice en el diseño.
Le hice flores de puntitos amarillos con el centro negro y naranja con el centro blanco. Para finalizar le pegamos las flores en el centro y así queda terminado nuestro trabajo.

In a piece of EVA foam we practice the design that we will make on the edge of the case, we make the combination of colors, to a quantity of yellow we add very little red to make the orange which is the one I use in the design.
I made flowers of yellow dots with a black center and orange with a white center. Finally we glue the flowers in the center and our work is finished.
