Hola queridos amigos de #HivePets, les cuento nuevas experiencias que tenemos con nuestro gato. Es la primera vez que Bonito se nos enferma y es complicado mantenerlo en casa, ya que él es un gato que anda libre, entra y sale sin restricciones y duerme en el corredor de mi casa, que es abierto. Mantiene contacto con su madre, su hermano y otros gatos que viven en otra casa y que también son libres como él.

Hello dear friends of #HivePets, I tell you new experiences we have with our cat. It is the first time that Bonito gets sick and it is complicated to keep him at home, since he is a free-roaming cat, he goes in and out without restrictions and sleeps in the corridor of my house, which is open. He keeps in contact with his mother, his brother and other cats who live in another house and who are also free like him.

Desde que mi hija @tsunsica lo llevó al veterinario, hemos cambiado por completo la rutina que él tenía, debemos evitar el contacto con los otros animales mientras le aplicamos el tratamiento y luego lo llevaremos a vacunar.

Since my daughter @tsunsica took him to the vet, we have completely changed the routine he had, we must avoid contact with the other animals while we apply the treatment and then we will take him to be vaccinated.

El primer día lo mantuvimos dentro de casa y cerramos las puertas, bueno estábamos encerrados todos con él, jajaja. Esa noche llegaron al corredor de la casa los otros gatos y maullaban mucho, yo creo que andaban buscando a su compañero de parrandas.

The first day we kept him inside the house and closed the doors, well we were all locked up with him, hahaha. That night the other cats came to the corridor of the house and they were meowing a lot, I think they were looking for their companion.

Al segundó día le hicimos limpieza profunda a toda la casa y luego de dimos un buen baño, le colocamos la medicina, lo dejamos suelto dentro de la casa y vigilamos que no se escapara. Para mí fue toda una novedad, pues nunca había presenciado como un gato extrañaba los olores, estuvo dando vuelta por toda la casa olfateando todo y llegaba hasta nosotras y quería que lo cargáramos.

On the second day we did a deep cleaning of the whole house and after giving him a good bath, we gave him the medicine, we let him loose inside the house and we made sure he didn't run away. For me it was a novelty, because I had never witnessed how a cat missed the smells, he was walking around the house sniffing everything and came to us and wanted us to carry him.

El día anterior mi hija @tsunsica improviso una caja de arena, menos mal la naturaleza es muy sabia y los gatos saben dónde hacer sus necesidades jejeje, de una vez la utilizo. Luego de haber realizado la limpieza le íbamos a cambiar la arena pero al ver como se había comportado mi hija me dice es mejor que se la dejemos tal cual, porque es lo único que tiene su olor, menos mal, porque apenas metimos la caja fue e hizo pipi en ella.

The day before my daughter @tsunsica improvised a litter box, fortunately nature is very wise and cats know where to do their needs hehehehe, at once I use it. After the cleaning we were going to change the litter but seeing how she had behaved my daughter told me it is better to leave it as it is, because it is the only thing that has her smell, thank goodness, because as soon as we put the box in she went and peed in it.

Me gusta que no le diera por marcar territorio, eso me habría puesto loca, él nunca lo ha hecho, pero con tanta limpieza él se sentía extraño y de paso encerrado.

I like that he didn't mark his territory, that would have made me crazy, he has never done it, but with so much cleanliness he felt strange and locked in.

En donde vivo hace mucho calor y necesitamos abrir las puertas y ventanas de la casa, pero sin dejar que Bonito se salga, entonces mi hija improvisó un arnés para atarlo, que no le causara daño, que le brindara comodidad y un poco de libertad. Esta idea fue lo mejor, el anda por la casa tranquilo, tiene alcance a zonas como la caja de arena, a la silla donde le gusta estar y puede salir al corredor, está muy tranquilo y eso nos alegra mucho a todos en casa.

Where I live it is very hot and we need to open the doors and windows of the house, but without letting Bonito out, so my daughter improvised a harness to tie him, that would not cause him harm, that would give him comfort and a little freedom. This idea was the best, he walks around the house calmly, he can reach areas such as the litter box, the chair where he likes to be and he can go out to the hallway, he is very calm and that makes us all at home very happy.

Hoy al regresar del trabajo lo encontré con un arnés mejorado jejeje, este gato es el amor de mi hija @tsunsica. El otro era de trenzas, ahora la tira es gruesa.

Today when I came back from work I found him with an improved harness hehehe, this cat is the love of my daughter @tsunsica. The other one was braided, now the strap is thick.

Es difícil evitar que mantenga contacto con los otros gatos, me da miedo que cuando lo deje libre como antes se enferme por estar en contacto con ellos, pero es algo inevitable, no puedo mantenerlo encerrado para siempre.

La medicina esta haciendo lo suyo, está mejorando y por ahora tiene que estar con estas restricciones, pero pronto podrá hacer de las suyas jejeje, aquí les dejo estas imágenes de él observando el panorama y en lo que más le gusta dormir en su silla. 😘
