Allow me to tell you a story.
I promise you that it's not gonna be a long story.
Each day I close from work and I'm on my way home, I am always mesmerized by a familiar aroma that when I'm with my last penny for the day, I usually do not mind spending the money on this particular thing.
Sometimes I try to resist the temptation because I know that I may need that money for a need. Nevertheless, each time I walk past the area, I fall again and again into the temptation of buying this thing.
Suddenly, I stopped seeing the vendor, however, each time I passed through that route, I could still smell that particular aroma.
Days went by, weeks went by…
I was still passing that route and could still smell it, I would always stop to check the vendor's spot only to get there and find the place deserted.
At a point, I wondered if it was all in my head, somehow, I knew it wasn't because the aroma was so real.
Some other days, I would take several pauses to look around and trace the aroma with my nose, yet I couldn't find the vendor.
I was getting frustrated and told myself to forget about this thing.
Yes, I did forget about it even though I could still smell it each time I went home through that route.
Finally, today I decided to really and thoroughly trace that popcorn with the scent of the flavor which filled the air and my sense of smell couldn't rid off
I was already going home through my usual route when that aroma hit my nose, immediately I retraced my steps and stood for a while at a spot where the scent of the nice flavored popcorn was strong.
I had to cross to the other side of the road to thoroughly check and confirm that it was not just in my head.
I took my time to search every nook and cranny of that road 😆
Finally, I saw the vendor, my heart jumped for joy the moment I saw him and I patted and gave myself a thumbs up because I wasn't wrong after all and the thorough search wasn't in vain 😆
…and now, I'm home, enjoying that popcorn 😁
