Chika Farm is a brand new place for Da Lat addicts like me. Going to Da Lat many times, but this is the first time I feel so excited, the previous times I often visited the cafes with hilly views, the dreamy and romantic natural landscape of Da Lat. This time, I chose Chika Farm partly because of the beautiful scenery and first-hand experience of feeding the animals here.
Chika Farm located in Da Quy village, Xuan Tho commune and about 13 km from Da Lat market is a new virtual living place that is being passed on by young people recently. The way to Chika Farm is very easy, I can follow Google Maps. From Da Lat market, go to Ho Tung Mau street then turn left onto Tran Hung Dao street, continue to go straight on Hung Vuong street. Next, turn right along Tu Phuoc - Trai Mat Street, go straight in the direction of Quoc Lok 20 (towards Cau Dat), turn right on Da Quy village road, go straight for 3km, you will see a signpost to the farm. The road has many potholes that are a bit difficult to run to the shop, then meet a slightly high slope running down to the garage. I'm a little scared here, so I ask you to run down.
Coming to the shop, I will buy an entrance ticket for 110,000 VND (including optional drinks), children under 1m will be free to visit. The drink counter is designed with a striking white bus, and very pretty vintage-style wooden tables and chairs. The drinks here are also quite good, the menu has a variety of dishes. I ordered a yellow-orange guava tea that was very tasty, I quite liked it. The shop is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., when I arrived at 10 a.m., it was quite crowded, mostly young people like me and families with small children. The shop has 2 areas for tables and chairs for guests to sit in and an outdoor area for people to take pictures and play with the animals. The outdoor space with green meadows and pine hills below looks very Western. The Alpaca sheep, goat, rabbit and camel farm is super cute, I can go to the barn to take pictures and feed them. The food jar is 10,000vnd, the first time I fed it, I was scared, when I heard the smell, it ran after me, even jumped on me to get food, this part was a bit scary.
Alpaca camel camp and sheep are kept in the camp, and goats are left free. These goats are very smart, knowing they have food to run after them. And especially when feeding them, their expressions are extremely excited. Rarely get the chance to get up close to these special species. In addition, there is also a rabbit, mouse, and chicken farm in the back, so you should visit this farm, not that there is nothing attractive inside and there is a very unpleasant smell.
The service staff and animal keepers here are always friendly, and enthusiastically guide how to feed, the characteristics of each species can open a barn for you to come in and play with a few sheep, you can only enter 1 time each time. , only 2 people, so when buying food, the sheep will follow me and it's easy to take pictures. This is the first time I've met them, normally I can only see them through the internet or TV, so I really like them and feel interesting. In the midst of a chilly space of Da Lat and beautiful nature, family and friends can enjoy delicious hot coffee. Surely this will also be an unforgettable memory for you and your family when coming to Chika farm Dalat.
In the cool weather at the end of the year, coming to Chika farm also gives me special emotions and experiences, shortening the distance between humans and animals, not only blending with nature but also beautiful animals. . When I come here, I go early in the morning or in the afternoon, it is also very sunny on the day I go, but when I go with my photography friends, I also get some good photos. In my opinion, you should go here once, especially for families with small children who love to explore the natural world.
