I like your take on education. One of the problems modern education faces (The one we found in schools) is seeing discrimination only through a negative lens (Based on race, income or gender, which is obviously something no one should do), eliminating all discrimination and giving no reason to do good in class for those who want to succeed through effort, regardless of their conditions.

But the thing is, the word Discrimination isn't used to describe hate towards a group of people. The other definition of this word is:

Recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another.

A thing which also points to your proposal for a better way of education: One that can recognize students based on their natural talents or proficiencies from an early age, suiting their education to their future proclivities. For example, A Tennis player doesn't have to study English literature, but they'll surely need training fitted to his/her sport.

As for people identifying with groups too much, my perspective is that people with low self-worth tend to attach their identities to a group to avoid thinking of their personal "inadequacies". This is why so many people fall prone to ideologies.

And as for having a university degree to be accepted in certain jobs, this is still a thing in many countries, but luckily the Western world is coming to the realization that what really matters in the workforce is experience and results, things they seek in their employees outside of their house of study.

Thanks for giving us your perspective in this article. Have a nice day!
