So my store which first opened its doors to the public in 1980 had its door closed for the last time and this deeply saddens me both for the retail market and of course my position and time well spent there. Back when Sears and Kmart dominated the game you had things like the Sears cataloug or The Blue Light Special which consisted of waiting eagerly for that PA announcement "Attention Kmart shoppers in our tools department we have craftsman 12 piece for 50% off" with those announcements people would scurry to that location and grab it while it was there.

So with my store closing I would like to share pictures throughout the process and I hope you enjoy!

So this the end of the ride, I had a great couple years working at this location as it was fascinating to see how the store looked when we tore it down. Where does it leave everything?!

For Retail:
Obviously people this day do not want this big of stores anymore, most of what you can buy here you can buy on Amazon or through Jet.

So within the next 5 years I see it as with consumers they are going to increase usage on these sites and if they need something in a hurry there are stores like Dollar General that are small and convenient to shop.

For me:
I had a great run through Kmart as it was a blast so with all of this that I gained through this corporation I will probably apply it to another store along with being on here with Steemit.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post as for me was awesome and was a pleasure in doing so. These pictures showcase a store slowly decaying and showing how it use to be back in the day with ads from the 80's showing up to wallpaper still on the wall. This store will forever be marked historically like Blockbuster to customers.
