I thought of you today, it was bittersweet.
There was beauty in those memories, and there was more.
The love we shared
Just couldn’t overcome the harsh words;
Events and people conspired against us.
I stood at the rail,
Gazing at the storm clouds,
Remembering,
The rain fell down my cheeks.
