This is the first planting in Mableton... ever.

Trees Atlanta Kendeda TreeHouse

Trees Atlanta is headquartered in southwest Atlanta, Georgia in the Oakland City neighborhood near Adair Park. This facility houses our administrative, program, and implementation center. Built on a former industrial property, the design of the new headquarters allowed us to repair and restore over half of the land on our property as natural landscaped spaces that includes over 200 new trees and thousands of native plants.

On the east side of the property and facing Allene Avenue and the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail is a stunning meadow of native grasses surrounded by trees and native perennials. Beside the meadow is a special landscape installation, designed by renown landscape architect Darrel Morrison, inspired by granite outcrops appropriate to the Georgia Piedmont. A walking trail meanders through the greenspaces of the property.

In the Kendeda TreeHouse, our staff, education, and volunteer spaces are located in the main building. A second building and working lot is used as an implementation center for program equipment and operations. The greenspaces surrounding the building is accessible for the enjoyment of our neighbors and visitors.

I will be very happy when it takes hold and I don't have to worry about bringing water over to it, they said about a month should be fine.

In the meantime, I've had help moving my plants into my greenhouse, which is now outdoors

The larger Elephant Foot Palms, draceanas which are (Praise God) coming back from the roots and the stag horn fern are now inside the studio building
