Always some sort of outdoor event, much moreso in Atlanta Proper, but out here in the 'burbs there is stuff going on a lot.
Concerts, arts and craft shows etc...
Atlanta isn't called "Hotlanta" just because of the summer heat.
It is one of THE most desirable locations for the 'entertainment industry' (Tyler Perry is from here and bought most of Fr McPherson to make a brand new film studio) plus there are tons of people moving here for jobs and housing. The "beltway" is a pedestrian feature that is almost complete, so that you could actually get all around the city on foot without using the streets/sidewalks.
Something like 2.5 million people are projected to move here in the next few years, and I want to be outta here before then; the infrastructure just cannot support the people that are here now, let alone 2½ million more.
