Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the musicianship, the fact that they play well and
Enjoy what they do/did... in my first band after the Air Force we actually played a couple of Dead tunes.
From the start, it was Beatles, Led Zepplin, Steppenwolf, Grand Funk Railroad (where did those guys go? 😲 )
Then came Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Focus, curiously, "Steels and Croft", Bread...I was all over the place.
My appreciation for Country music came WAAAYYYY later.
Still can't handle hip hop or rap.
