"Meddle" was my first exposure to Floyd. Yep! That was a LONG time ago.

I was in the USAF from 1975-1980. When PF came out with the "Animals" album, they came to Phoenix Az. in concert.
Laser Light shows were all the rage, and I'd never seen one.
I reasoned that if a band such as "Yes" or "Styx" (two of my long time favorites as well) had lasers in concert, surely PF would.
Boy was I disappointed.
The "Animals" part had black lights with inflatable flying pigs and people sitting on inflatable couches (never understood that one)
They played all of animals, all of Wish you were here, and about half of Darkside, so the music was great.
The show, not so much. No big screens back then @inalittlewhile
