I talked with another guy, who is in the company who replaced my water heater.

When I got as far as telling him "the floor under the shower sounded squishy".
That's all I need to hear, you should be considered as qualified for the ADA, that the VA should help pay for MANY other modifications, but that it would likely take months and months. He urged me to go TO the Regional office and file for this grant.
I have the forms almost fully filled out, it is all just so much so soon.
