In this day, 2 yrs later, I think we all STILL might feel like "A fish in a tank".
Mandatory isolation and masking has been lifted, but the die is cast and the sheeple have shown they will obey without question. This alone makes my depression run rampant.
I feel like I’m a fish in a large tank.
There are no other fish around like me.
I am not alone, though I feel manqué;
Destiny eludes me, I am not free.
I swim, nudging my way through life.
I seem to make way, but cannot see the light,
Always moving on, never seeing sky.
It is a struggle, and sometimes I fight.
A shark must always swim, or he can’t breathe.
I’m a simple fish seeking my purpose.
Wielding the sword of goodness; drawn from its sheath.
Resisting darkness, to give love purchase.
I will swim on, (perhaps some other fishes will follow)
I will find my way,
Light will vanquish night; bringing a new day.
