I went out this morning rather early with my Nikon to get some flower photos

Then God Help me, I raked up this area that has not been addressed in the entire time I've owned the place.
I did try last year, but the ivy vines and other things running along under the leaves made it nearly impossible to rake, so I just left it until now.
With another years worth of loose leaves, I was able to rake enough into a pile and set fire.
I had a hose, and a watering can there all along.

Now, there is an area where the vines are burned in two, and raking will be much easier.
Then I went to the store and caught these images on the way home
