My home owners insurance would not touch this, I applied for a grant with the VA for Adaptive Housing.
I have a video appointment next week I think with someone in OT, but that doesn't matter, the VA in their INFINITE WISDOM (sarcastic font missing) has already determined that

So I busted out my bank account, hired a company who advertises ONE DAY renovation ($13, 700) and now, there are a couple of small issues with my shower.
Notice the relatively low threshold of my existing shower.
So they ripped out the old, fixed the floor, then when they were going to put in the NEW shower pan, I noticed that it was over SIX INCHES, which would be a tripping hazard for me.
They came back yesterday to finish what was started on Wednesday, with an 'easy step' shower pan.
All the heavy lifting and demo was done on Wednesday. Thursday they came back and began again.
The acrylic siding is really SLICK so I am having problems getting the shower curtain rods to stay in place.
And since I can't USE the shower quite yet, I noticed this:
I don't think that handle should be so far away from the wall.
I've called them about all this, I have a date for them to come help address these things
