On that note, I would add that I'm a fan of free investing as well. Some regulation is needed to keep things fair but preventing people from investing in an asset they personally want to invest in is just plain stupid when you think about it.

Yes, I know that ponzis won't make me rich but that doesn't mean I can't profit from the momentum they generate. It's like the whole US needs a babysitter when it comes to money. It could be a good thing but I'm definitely not willing to go down that road.
