If anyone is actually interested, the conversation was about moderation and unintentional nudes. I had no idea rape victims and pedophilia were also involved... If I did I would have provided a different response but alas. I will keep this brief.

People are fallible - blockchains are not. This is a subject that is yet to be addressed and certainly not something two randoms from the internet should debate. Whatever the majority finds as the perfect solution will be the norm and I highly doubt censorship-prone moderation will be the best idea we will come up with.

Personal stories time is from a time where trolling and abusing people came with no added costs. If you want to expose someone on Hive or any other blockchain, it will cost money. Money that creepy flickr dudes don't have and those that do will become victims themselves.

Most of the bad stuff happens in an attempt to make a quick buck, be it extortion or blackmailing weirdos that take snapshots of their private areas. In case you didn't notice, nowadays bad actors have many simpler ways to make money with rugpulls and NFT scams. They couldn't care less about your genitals this time around.

And lastly, Jerry is nowhere near perfect but Jerry keeps his net worth in cold storage, Jerry uses temporary emails, Jerry doesn't post pictures of his loved ones on the internet so someone can jerk off to them and everything Jerry holds on his personal computer and mobile is hardly worth the effort.

Times are changing. Those that don't take their lives, their privacy and their responsibility seriously will probably get rekt and there is nothing wrong with that.
