I came across this picture this morning and then memories began to flash back on how amazing God is. I am a proud Christian and there are several benefits of being a Christian and believing in Jesus Christ.
I flashed back at the picture above of how God delivered Daniel from the Lion's Den. There was a law saying that now one should pray in the Land because the people were against Daniel and the king loved Daniel and somehow believed in the God of Daniel.
Your enemies think they might have won because they have been able to sentence you to be thrown into the Lion's Den but God sits in heaven and laughs. He will always give charge over you. How well do you trust God?
Daniel believed in God. He trusted God with his life. He was thrown into the Den with real Lions. I want to imagine how it was. The Lions who were meant to eat up all flesh that came into the den were not able to make a move on Daniel because the creator of the Lions gave us dominion over everything on earth.
Do you know that you've dominion? Many people aren't aware of this fact. If you're not aware or conscious of something, how can you walk in that light? If you know that you've been awarded $1billion will you be worried over your house rent? You will buy up houses or even build estates because you're aware that you've the money. The person who isn't aware that he has $1billion in his account, will walk based on the knowledge of what he thinks he currently has.
If what he thinks he has is $15, then he will work around managing $15 because he hasn't come to the awareness of the fact that he was awarded $1billion somewhere. He will suffer the consequences of not being able to feed well and pay rent because of the lack of awareness.
Now God has given us dominion over all things. You've enemies who are against you. If you know that you've dominion, why should you be afraid or worried about their plans? You've to be bold because the greater one lives inside of you. Daniel was confident that God will deliver him. He didn't cry or beg them not to throw him into the Den. He didn't say please my people, I will not pray again, let this be my last warning. He let them throw him into the Den because he was assured that God will not leave him nor forsake him.
How much do you trust God?
After Daniel was thrown into the Den, the king was in panic but had some kind of faith that the God of Daniel might save him. So he went to the Den to check for Daniel and screamed Daniel, Daniel, has your God been able to deliver you? and Daniel responded. God shut the mouth of the Lions.
The kind then ordered that the enemies who threw Daniel into the den should go and take his place and that everyone should start serving the God of Daniel. Isn't this amazing? I have seen several miracles been wrought by this same God in our present day meaning that this same God exists and He is still doing wonders and miracles. He is an amazing God.
You don't need to believe these stories. It's not by force to. But if you believe, you will partake in the blessings that God has specially for his children. It's not so hard to believe. To believe in God means that you believe in Jesus Christ and that he died to save you from your sins and you confess it with your mouth that you believe that he died and rose from the dead. You also confess that Jesus is the Lord of your life and it's that simple. Isn't it amazing?
