WHO ARE WHALES ON STEEMIT?

In my simple definition, I would say that whales on steemit are the people with the power. They have the power to make you grow and reward you handsomely on steemit. I can also call them the rulers of steemit because they are far ahead of most of us.
Most times the whales are moved to reward good works carried out by steemians and also reward those who promote the steemit community.

WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BECOME A WHALE RIGHT NOW?

It will take a lot of Steem Power and money too. As the value of Steem keeps increasing, it gets more difficult to become a whale.

Whales are rich and not our mates in anyway. From my calculations it should cost about $600,000 to become a good whale on steemit. Yes it is going to cost that much. It is not that easy to come by, so I respect the whales alot and hope to make friends with as many as possible.

WHAT I THINK YOU CAN DO IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE MONEY

Everyone cannot be at the top, but anyone who wants to grow, can grow. Steemit is a wonderful community that encourages growth.

(1) Be consistent in doing what you love. If you are consistent, you will begin to gain awareness.

(2) Work on original content. If you must use another person's work, give credit to the author or creator.

(3) Make posts that are revelant and that will add value to the steemit community. It is nice that we are being paid for making posts but it is not nice when people post irrelevant things all because of the attached rewards.
If you are to make comments on somebody's post, read through carefully and understand the topic or context before making a comment. Think of adding value.

(4) Be humble and respect your fellow steemians. Follow people who add value to your life through their posts and contents on steemit.

(5) Follow the whales.
There are several of them on steemit who are very kind. One of them that I love is @surpassinggoogle. He ensures that he carries as many people he can along on steemit.
Another whale you can follow is @exyle.
One I hope to follow me soon and upvote me is @thejohalfiles.

There are so many. If you visit the trending page on steemit, you will see them when they make posts or upvotes. Try to follow and be active. Be consistent and add value.

(6) Join a steemit group.
There are several groups on steemit for different countries or regions. These groups have other platforms where they share ideas on how to grow on steemit.
Ask questions from those that have grown in the steemit community. They will help you. You will also grow and carry others along.

MY STEEMIT DREAM

My dream is to become a whale on steemit that people will remember over and over for life. I want to touch and bless lives on steemit. I also want to touch lives in several parts of the world.

I have started my journey and I am growing gradually. What is your dream? Don't give up on your dream.
