Reincarnation the belief that a soul returns to live in a new body after death is a concept found in many religions and philosophies around the world. However, when it comes to the Bible, this idea does not align with its teachings. The Bible clearly presents life as a one-time journey, followed by judgment.

Hebrews 9:27 says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

This verse alone shows that the biblical view does not support the idea of multiple lives or repeated chances to live again in different forms.

From a Christian perspective, salvation and eternal life come through faith in Jesus Christ, not through repeated lifetimes of self-improvement. The Bible emphasizes repentance, grace, and transformation in this present life not in future ones. While reincarnation may offer comfort to some or a sense of justice, the Bible speaks more about resurrection, not reincarnation. Resurrection involves being raised from the dead at the end of time, not being reborn into a new earthly body. Therefore, reincarnation is not a biblical teaching.
